Albertelli Law Develops Loss Mitigation "Marketplace"

 

Currently in Beta testing and awaiting approval from several of its clients, including, WAMU, Albertelli Law has developed a comprehensive response to the issues raised by borrowers attempting to save their homes.  "The number one complaint of home owners is the lack of responsiveness of institutional lenders and mortgage servicers during the foreclosure process," according to Jim Albertelli the founding attorney and principal of Albertelli Law.

 

To deal with that issue, Albertelli has developed an on-line marketplace designed to bring the customers, lenders and the legal support together in real time.  Borrowers facing foreclosure simply respond to the correspondence sent to them by logging onto the Albertelli Law web site and clicking the WAMU icon. 

 

The borrowers are then directed to a secure website.  They can pre-qualify themselves or talk directly to a bank representative or foreclosure professional at the law firm through the on-line marketplace.  "We have the ability to complete a loss mitigation solution, in real time," says Jim Albertelli. 

 

A survey of the firms in the marketplace shows that Albertelli Law, its technology and people are ahead of the curve on offering the home owner a meaningful solution.
